Trust Prediction League - All Profits To Darlington FC Youth Development

This is the real anti-dote to that “stuff” in the World Cup . . . you can’t really use the word “football”

So get some proper football in your veins and pit your wits against all the other managers!!!
It’s the COME ON DARLO Prediction League for 2010-11

Last season's competition saw a record 178 managers battling it out for the title of Champion of the Come On Darlo Prediction League. But Darlo’s poor season was reflected in the poor scores achieved by all managers – so how can you cope with the Blue Square Premier League? That's the challenge for you, your friends, family and work colleagues. Why not get enough managers together for your own mini league and the chance of showing off your footballing knowledge?

All you have to do is predict Darlo's scores for the coming season - couldn’t be easier eh? In addition, you have to predict the promotion and relegation places of all the leagues in England plus play-off finalists, the FA Cup and League Cup finalists - and where the other north east clubs will finish in their respective leagues. Finally, you have to tell us the answer to some DFC questions. They add up to a whole heap of points.

And just to make things even more interesting, there are top prizes to be won –

1st, £100; 2nd, £50; 3rd, £25 with a £10 spot prize at New Year

And, of course, there's the obligatory Wooden Spoon for the manager who finishes last!!! There are now six managers already out there with this coveted spoon (of shame) with our very own fab fan Lance Ireland the latest recipient. Let’s see if we can achieve over 200 entries for this year’s competition – dig out those friends and family who think they know about football and get them involved; challenge those Premier League-supporting mates and work colleagues to predict some real football scores! There will be further spot prizes if we break that 200-entry mark.

Weekly results and the up-to-date league table will be sent out to all those who supply their correct email address, whilst we'll also keep you in touch with the league's progress each week via Darlington Supporters' Trust's website and our sister site at www.darlotrustdsg.co.uk . But be warned, I will reveal all those who are performing poorly :)

You can enter as many times as you wish - please photocopy forms and encourage friends, family and work colleagues to join in. The fee for each entry form is £2 - cheques only, payable to "Darlington Supporters' Trust." All profits will go towards DFC’s Youth Development programme . . . assisting our stars of tomorrow!!!

TO ENTER: Go to

www.darlotrustdsg.co.uk

and follow the onscreen instructions or email

comeondarlo@sky.com

for an entry form direct to your email address

Entries Close Firday 6th August 2010 - please help - all profits go to support Darlington FC's Youth Development. Help us to promote the future for our Club

Good luck!!!

Pete
